MEMBERS

Johnny Vero "Hot Fingers Johnny": The lead guitarist and the guy who confronted Cookies and Biscuits Records about getting a record deal.

Keith Satar "Keith Fucking Moon": The drummer who nearly strangled Johnny when he told him that he auditioned the band without telling him first. He gets his nickname because he plays good drums, and sometimes he's fucking insane!

Ritchie Sambori "Guitar Man": The rhythm guitarist who helped convince Keith to join CnBR. He's the closet friend to Johnny, and he and Paul met Johnny and Keith in a bar the night Powerstars formed. It was he and Johnny's idea to form a band.

Paul Lenison "Mr. Doo": The bassist who is greatly inspired by Paul McCartney. He gets his nickname because he loves Paul McCartney, and if you've ever seen Mr. Stevie Riks, you know exactly how he got his name

BIOGRAPHY

The story of how they got together, according to Johnny, is as follows, in his own words: "Well it started in a bar. I think it was The Dirty Clam. I brought Keith and we met Paul and Ritchie. It took a long time for our conversation to get to music, and when it did, Paul was passed out, and Keith was hitting on some blond chick. Then, by the time it got to a band, me and Ritchie were MASSIVELY DRUNK, and Keith and Paul were passed out. The only thing I remember word-for-word is my last comment:'Yeeeeeeah, maaan! Thaaaaat would be-hic-soooooooo cooooooooooooool'. And then I fainted. The next day me and Ritchie remembered the idea and woke up Paul and Keith. Paul seemed enthusiastic, but Keith was all like 'Yeah, whatever, just let me go back to bed!'. That afternoon, we practiced. In the span of about a month, we were good. Damn good! So, I decided to secretly record our band and audition us to Cookies and Biscuits.

All of us knew except Keith, as he already expressed disinterest in getting signed to a label. I remember him saying something like 'Dude, we can't get signed to a label. We're good, but compared to the kinds of groups they got up there, we suck!' I actually went up there, and some of 'the kinds of groups' actually liked us. They wanted us to be signed, but at that moment I realized something: I was gonna have to tell Keith. When I told and he figured out I wasn't joking, he began to, no joke, strangle me! He did this for a good minute until he realized 'Hey! They like us!'. So then we did a live audition, and the rest is friggin' history!
